Reversing the sound
  Look at this example of how a sound can be reversed. The process creates interesting sonic effects. Reversing the sound - screen recording   
 
Looping the sound
 
Creating a loop  using the multitrack window (- screen recording). A certain amount of unity can be attained through repetition of an idea. This can also create rhythmic and metrical patterns and even a hypnotic effect.
   



 
Problems and Solutions

1. A file is too big. Solution: Convert a stereo wave to mono to halve the size.

Open the file called paper. The path is sources - sounds. It is a stereo file. Edit. Convert sampling type to mono. Choose the following settings:

2. A file is too quiet. Solution: Normalize it.

The paper file is fairly loud. Go to Transform. Amplitude. Amplify. Normalize. Type in 70%

3. The start of the file is a bit abrupt. Solution: Fade it in.

Make the beginning of the file less abrupt, select from 0" to 1.5" Go to Transform. Amplitude. Amplify. Fade in. Save the new file as paper_soft_fadein in your audio folder
